Only the .xml, .html files can be modified. To use this player, the computer in which it is played must have Flash player 7 or above for offline use. You can install it in whatever host server (online use), provided you have access to ftp or web upload and that the server support .swf and .mp3 files (who doesn“t?!). You must unzip all files in the same directory (by now) and modify the .xml and .html files as you choose. Take into account that the file names provided in these files are only for information purposes. You can modify the file names with the appropriate: 1) absolute or relative urls (online use), b) system files paths (offline use). You must configure the Flash player appropriately. You can also place the mp3 files wherever (online or offline) provided: 1) edit the html tag value ()in the html "container" file to "always" and eventually allow remote access for the Flash player if you are required by your system. Files: ------ combodata.xml is where the data about the albums is stored. You can add as many albums as you want by only repeating the tags. listdata0.xml is the file that gives the initial text in the combo box of the player. listdata1.xml, listdata2.xml (and any other you make) are the playlists. As in the case of the combodata.xml you only need to add the same tags with different titles and file names to include your .mp3 files. Online installation: --------------------- Ftp or web upload them to your chosen directory with your .mp3 files and type the url of the .html file that have the player embedded and voilį! streaming audio!!! Offline installation: --------------------- Just unzip and place the player and mp3 files and double click either the html "container" file or the .swf file and presto! And two goodies: you will find in the .zip file an .exe and a .hqx (Mac) file which are the same Flash player in standalone versions that can be used in a computer without Flash player installed (hopefully). Remember that if you use the player placing some files in one place (offline or online) and other files in another (offline or online) it is probable that you must give permission if a firewall of any kind is installed or the Flash player installation requires it.
