| Random Klee Generator. Based in: Coloured Chalkboard |

|
| You can create unnumbered random Klee style web
pages of 5000 x 4000 pixels by clicking the buttons above. A new browser
window will appear each time on TOP of your actual browser window (always the same window, no clogging
in Firefox and IE6 or 7).
Use Crtl + mouse wheel to zoom in/out in Firefox, use zoom feature in
IE7, nothing to do in IE6. Then you have to "capture" it to a graphic file that can be printed (large format for interior decoration). There are three ways to do that, take into acccount that this is not for the faint of heart. First: if you use Firefox get the Screengrab add-on and install it. Once reloaded Firefox you will see a tiny icon in the right bottom area of the status bar (the lowest bar). Click on it, select Save, Complete page/frame and save as .jpg wherever you like (be aware that you MUST add the .jpg extension to the graphic file to save name, if not, it will be saved as .png, (an add-on glitch). It works very smooth and I strongly recommend Firefox as default browser instead of IE versions. If you use IExplorer (tested on version 6 and 7) you can install the Webpage Capture plugin (or download a more recent version from its site). Itīs shareware and add a logo on top of captured pages. It can be removed with any decent graphic application. By the way this shareware version saves the file in .bmp format (a BIG file), so you must convert to .jpg with some graphics editor to .jpg, if you want. Second: if you have generated a SOLID COLORS Klee, you can save the page (File/Save as) as HTML ALONE, not complete web page in IE6 and 7 and COMPLETE in Firefox (they behave differently). Then you can use one of these two applications: Web Screen Capture (self-contained, portable app, download from my site or a more recent version from the proper website), double click the saved htm file to open automatically with your browser and copy/paste the file address that appears in the navigation or location text area to the Web Address text area of Web Screen Capture, then hit "Scan", and after the page has loaded, hit "Screen Capture". Save the file. The other application is also self-contained and portable, itīs name is Siteshoter (download from here or a more recent version from the corresponding site) and is a little more complex to setup, but very self-explanatory. You can enter many variables, but the most important is to set the dimensions of the graphic to output to 5000 x 4000 pixels, and disable main scrollbars (see picture below). Both downloadable versions in mi site have been scanned with antivirus and are safe.
Third: you can go to the menu "View", Page source (in Firefox, similar in IE), select all and copy to a plain text editor (like Windows Notepad) and save the file with the .htm extension and proceed as in Second. I have tested this in Windows XP Home SP1, with Firefox 3 and IE6 (TEXTURED Klees donīt work with it)and with Windows XP Home SP2 with Firefox 3 and IE7. Other configurations and/or browsers (Opera, Safari, Chrome) may behave differently regarding saving the web page or capturing it. I have developed most of the code to display the web page the way and size it has. I have also tested all the add-ons and applications mentioned. Please drop me a line if you find any bug. Enjoy!!!
